Results of October 20th Frederick Planning Commission Meeting

The Frederick County Planning Commission held a meeting on the evening of October 20th to review the PATH Transmission Lines and to make a recommendation to the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).  A number of folks turned out for the meeting and gave great testimony.  An interesting item is that Allegheny did not bother to attend this meeting.  As they did with the proposed “Kemptown Substation”, the Planning Commission ruled unanimously that the transmission lines are inconsistent with the Frederick County Comprehensive Plan.   If you’re interested in reading a little more detail about the meeting, see the following link.  It’s a blog entry on the website written by one of the folks from West Virginia who attended the meeting.
