Substation is inconsistent with Frederick Master Plan!

On Wednesday, September 15th, the Frederick County Planning Commission ruled, with a unanimous 6-0 vote, that the proposed Kemptown Substation is inconsistent with the Frederick Master Plan.   Over 200 people were present for the hearing which heard testimony from over 30 concerned citizens and representatives from other organizations such as STOPPATHWV and the Sierra Club.  Click here for more details on the hearing.

The next step is the Board of Appeals hearing on September 29th at 1:00pm at Winchester Hall in Frederick.  Details are available here.   We continue to need donations to support our legal defense at this and future hearings.  We appreciate any donation you could offer.
